Slide Tessellation #1
Use card stock, tag or heavy paper.
Start with a square or a rectangle.
Slide it up & tape to the opposite side, as shown here:
Add details : ) ... beautiful!
Draw a shape along one side of the rectangle.
Cut the shape out---
Trace around the shape to make a tessellation:
Variation:
Cut a shape out of one side, and attach it on an adjacent side (see below).
The tessellation will rotate instead of forming rows:
Slide Tessellation #2 (two-sided)
Follow the directions for tessellation #1, but cut shapes out of 2 sides.
